The Canary Events is an independent multilingual event-discovery platform dedicated to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa. It brings together festivals, artisan markets, concerts, workshops, exhibitions, sporting events, family activities and other local plans in one searchable place.
The platform is managed from the Canary Islands by The Canary Events team and is designed for residents, visitors, artists, venues and event organizers.
How event information is collected and reviewed
Event organizers can create an account and submit their own listings. The team may also add information available from organizers, venues and public event announcements. New and edited submissions are reviewed before publication, and organizers can update their details when plans change.
Because schedules, prices and access conditions can change, visitors should confirm important details with the organizer before travelling or buying tickets.
Regular updates and transparent coverage
The website is updated regularly as new events are submitted, approved or changed. Events can be explored by island, category, date and search term, while artist and organizer profiles make it easier to understand who is behind each activity.
Independent, not a government portal
The Canary Events is an independent private platform. It is not an official website of the Government of the Canary Islands, an island council or a municipal authority. Its purpose is to complement official calendars by making a broad range of local events easier to discover in English, Spanish, German and French.
