Delirium Teatro adapts Andrea Abreu’s novel about two ten-year-old girls growing up under a persistent blanket of cloud in northern Tenerife. Friendship, boredom, desire, family instability and island speech are carried to the stage without smoothing away the raw humour and discomfort of the original world, creating a dramatic comedy with a strongly Canarian identity.
