Discover a less familiar side of Manolo Millares through his writing, theatre and experimental cinema. Aranza Coello performs selections from Dramas para leer, then joins curator Alicia Chillida and Coro Millares, the artist’s daughter and custodian of his legacy, for a discussion of his work beyond painting.

The evening closes with Millares por Alberto Portera, an archival film in which the artist uses his own body in a performative action evoking ancient Canarian mummies. The film belongs to the Archivo Alberto Portera y Catherine Cailliau, held by Fundación Juan March. Admission is free, with a ticket collected beforehand from the box office or official website, subject to capacity.
