The ninth International Ritmos Handmade Festival turns Lago Martiánez into a meeting place for percussion, learning and inclusive participation. The programme opens with Miguel Ángel Expósito, the Sociedad Filarmónica Nivaria de Arafo and percussion students; continues with contemporary percussionist Carlota Cáceres; moves into jazz with Marc Miralta, Diego Jiménez, Samuel Labrador, Agustín Buenafuente and Sergio Díaz; and closes with an Afro-Caribbean concert led by Roberto Quintero and Alex Michel. Masterclasses precede the evening concerts, while the final day includes the accessible Ritmo Diver + Gente workshop, a participatory workshop and the closing show. Every activity is free, open to all audiences and subject to capacity.
